Welcome to our cottage in the lovely setting of rural Somerset, situated near Bridgwater just outside the pretty village of Spaxton. Our cottage is surrounded by fields and trees, and has beautiful views towards the Quantock Hills - which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Our cottage is conveniently situated within 5 miles of both Junctions 22 and 23 of the M5 making it an ideal place to stay for families who want to explore the area - there is so much to do and see in Somerset! It is also convieniently a 15 minute drive to Hinkley Point Power Station.
The County town of Taunton is also within easy reach via a very pleasant drive over the Quantock Hills. We are also close to Exmoor National Park, the Blackdown Hills and the Somerset Levels, making our cottage a perfect base for driving, walking or cycling.
No DSS, no cats, children welcome. We may consider well behaved dogs.
Bedrooms - There are three large bedrooms which consist of two bedrooms with king size beds and one twin/family bedroom with two double beds (one king size, one standard size).
All three bedrooms are decorated and furnished to the highest quality, with en-suite facilities or private bathroom. The en-suites have electric showers and the bathroom is a lovely family bathroom with a big bath and a shower over. We provide lots of fresh bath and hand towels.
All bedrooms are fitted with 28" flat screen TV's and Freeview channels for digital TV and radio channels.
The beds are king size wooden 'sleigh' beds with high quality mattresses.
Each room has a desk, mirror, chair and bedside tables.
Lounge - The sunny lounge is beautifully furnished with three comfy sofas, coffee table, a log fire, and 32" LCD televison, video and dvd players. Sky TV full package is available at an extra cost)
Dining Room - The dining room has two tables and nine chairs, (plus a high chair), crockery and cutlery.
Kitchen - The fully equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, all utensils and a washing machine.
Garden - The garden is a gravelled courtyard area, which gets the morning sunshine, with table and chairs,and a rotary washing line.
There is wireless broadband available within the cottage.
